Fraud-i™Awareness - Product specification

• An introduction to fraud and corruption, and to the management of fraud
  risk (provided in the training pack)
  
• A test measuring the extent of knowledge gathered from the training pack (the organisation can choose to include a test on the understanding of the organisation’s ethical policies, anti-fraud policies and code of conduct)
  
• A certificate for those who complete the program and give correct answers to the questions in the training pack. For those who do not qualify for a certificate, Fraud-i™ Awareness offers guidance to what parts of the training need to be revised
  
• An anonymous survey which reveals employees’ perceptions of the cost and impact of fraud and ranks typical fraud risks within the organisation. The survey also asks respondents to select the parts of the organisation which they believe are most likely to suffer from fraud, and to estimate the likelihood of occurrence. If fraud is in fact occurring, the survey questions can help management detect it
  
• A whistleblower function: A possibility to report openly or anonymously on loopholes and possible methods of committing fraud within the organisation
  
• A possibility to raise concerns openly or anonymously about suspected fraud occurring both internally or externally
  
• A statistic reporting and feedback module for Management, Security and Internal Audit which includes graphic representations (sorted by criteria like position, department, country, etc) which are easy to understand and applicable to presentations and reports.

In its test and survey section, the basic version of Fraud-i™ Awareness includes certain information in table form which can easily be customised for the customer. For example, one organisation may have “business units” where another has “divisions”. Survey questions must use relevant terms in order to generate meaningful responses.

Technical description

Security Concerns

While the Fraud-i™ Awareness training material does not itself contain confidential data, participation in the survey is normally by invitation only and therefore password protected. Responses submitted are always treated confidentially; all communication with the Fraud-i™ Awareness server is encrypted and responses are stored in a secure environment.

Hosting

Fraud-i™ Awareness is designed to be readily customised into an Enterprise Specific Version, including values, policies, messages, test and survey questions, hyperlinks, multiple languages, logos and styles all specific to the organisation. Through customisation, an organisation is able to create a Fraud-i™ Awareness version perfectly in tune with its own internal culture and terminology. Both the basic and the enterprise specific versions of Fraud-i™ Awareness run on an external securely hosted Hibis server. Fraud-i™ is available via a link to Hibis' hosted server, either form a company's intranet or directly on the Internet.
